Commissions

Artwork tells a story, commissioned art tells your story.

I love working on commission, because of how I get to know clients through the process. It is just so much fun. When you commission art, you are getting a one-of-kind original piece that is a result of our collaboration. The commission process allows you to speak to the size, color, and style of the piece. We talk about everything, from the general look for which you are aiming and where you want the painting to go. Commission pricing is based on size and style. I paint on gallery wrapped 1 and ½ inch canvases, however, paper is also an option and carries different pricing. If you have any questions or are interested in a commission for yourself or as a gift, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Commissioned art is an investment and it’s a personal one. When you commission artwork, you are getting an original painting done specifically for you.

This 24x24 strong yet sweet piece was done for a baby boy's nursery. My client wanted a piece that worked for the nursery but also wanted it to grow with their son and we landed on a transitional abstract that could just as easily be in his nursery as in his own home one day. Commissioned art can be done for a specific room design but becomes an heirloom. Artwork speaks to us and tells a story. Commissioned art tells your story.

Commissions: One of a kind art…for you.

Step 1.

Contact me via email or the Contact link. We start a conversation about what you are looking for and you let me know the size, colors, and feel you are hoping to create. It is helpful if you look through my gallery in order to let me know which pieces really speak to you and/or what works well with your room. Once you confirm the details and the intended timeline, half the agreed upon price is due in order to begin the work.

Step 2.

I will begin working on your piece. There is currently a 4 to 6 week turnaround for a commissioned piece. I will contact you via email with an update on the painting halfway through the process in order to reveal my progress and confirm your approval.

Step 3.

You will receive final pictures once I believe the painting is complete. You will then provide your final approval or further direction and any necessary changes will be made at that time. The piece will cure, varnish will be applied, and then be prepped for delivery or shipping. The remaining balance is due upon delivery or shipping.
