I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and now live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with my husband, three small children, and two dogs. I love Jesus and I think that two of the most beautiful things in all of creation are horses and a wide open sky. I am a summer person who loves the beach and the Carolina Lowcountry but I also love the mountains and think snow days are a sweet thrill. Beauty moves us and I love how art captures those same feelings.

I started painting again in 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, after a long time away from any canvas. Some people learned to make sourdough bread during shelter-in-place while I started painting again. I pulled out interior house paint, washable kids paint, and old canvases from high school and just started painting. That painting led to another and another until I’d painted over all of my old canvases. Then someone wanted to buy two of my paintings and another person commissioned me to paint them a personal piece. Suddenly, my pandemic therapy turned into something so much more.

I believe that art should move you, taking you somewhere…or soothe you, letting you exhale. My heart is that you would find those things here. Thank you so much for visiting my website. I would absolutely love to connect with you.
